Early last month, Superannuation withdrawals were suspending after the Australian Tax Office revealed stolen identity records had been used to fraudulently access Australian’s funds through the Government’s early release superannuation scheme.
Authorities have detected an alleged $120,000 in savings has been fraudulently accessed through the creation of fake myGov accounts using stolen identities.
An investigation is currently ongoing.
