Six travellers have been fined more than $24 000 after lying on border declaration forms in an attempt to enter Queensland on Saturday.
The group claimed to have been working in New South Wales for three weeks.
Evidence allegedly showed the group was actually in a COVID-19 hotspot in Victoria for the past two weeks.
