The CSIRO has released a report stating fracking has little to no impact on the environment, sparking accusations of the organisation having a conflict of interest with the Coal Seam Gas industry.
The report, based on the testing of six gas wells out of 19,000 in Queensland, said that fracking has “little to no impacts...on air quality, soils, groundwater and waterways."
