Four new schools are set to be built in south-east Queensland, announced by premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Tuesday in state parliament.
These schools will be established in Logan, Caloundra South, the Gold Coast and between Indooroopilly and Kenmore. $245 million will be spent on the new schools.
The premier said these areas are some of the state’s fastest-growing regions.
