An Ipswich woman working at the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre in Wacol has tested positive to covid-19 this morning.
The detention centre has been placed on lock down while a hundred and twenty-seven youths and five hundred staff undergo testing.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has reiterated the importance of staying home if sick, saying the woman had been working whilst experiencing symptoms.
