In Mauritius, protests have sparked against the government’s lack of response to the oil spill that occurred last month, as dead dolphins have been recently discovered washed ashore.
Although the cause of these deaths is not yet confirmed, experts are concerned the chemicals that were leaked into the ocean are the reason.
Locals of Mauritius are peacefully demonstrating through Port Louis where they are pressing for an investigation into this oil spill.
