Hurricane Laura leaves many displaced and without power or water

 

14 lives lost and over 400,000 people are still without power and water following Hurricane Laura in the United States.

 

 

The category-four hurricane which began on August 20th caused mass destruction across the southwest, notably Texas and Louisiana.

 

While national guard troops were deployed to assist, the extensive damage will take a considerable amount of time until a sense of normality is restored.
