A new water-bombing aircraft has arrived in Queensland ahead of the 2020 bushfire season.
The $15 million Large Air Tanker Bomber will be based at Bundaberg and is capable of flying to the state’s southern border in one hour.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the aircraft will bolster the state’s aerial firefighting capabilities over the next five years.
