A Brisbane woman's attempted murder charge has been downgraded to a domestic violence offence after the first day of a Supreme Court trial.
The 39-year-old woman was originally charged with attempted murder, after stabbing her daughter with a kitchen knife in February of 2019.
Justice Glenn Martin made the decision to downgrade charges after hearing the woman’s daughter acted violently during the fight, calling the woman’s intent to injure “momentary”.
