The Coalition has announced that it will provide two hundred and fifty million dollars in funding to boost Australia’s regional tourism sector.
The funding aims to increase Australian tourism numbers in regional cities, and prepare for international tourists once borders reopen.
Federal Tourism Minister Simon Birmingham said the regions had been hit hard by the COVID-19 Pandemic, and that the funding should help them bounce back.
