Queensland's youth unemployment has risen to 15 per cent during COVID-19, almost 3 per cent higher than December last year.

With increasing life dissatisfaction, more young people have enrolled to vote at the state elections on October 31.

The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) says as of the end of June, there were close to 343,000 people aged between 18 and 24 on Queensland's electoral roll.

The top issues important to young voters include the environment, mental health, diversity, inclusion and social belonging.
