Queensland is set to ease coronavirus restrictions this afternoon following 36 days without community transmissions. 

From 4pm today, you can gather in groups of 40 people in homes and the community, senior students can dance at their school formal, 40 people will be able to dance at a wedding and aged care residents can go on excursions. 

Two people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours but are both in hotel quarantine. 

There are currently four active cases in QLD.
