Coral reef taller than the Empire State Building has been discovered 500 meters from Cape Town, North Queensland.
The newly-found reef sits amongst seven other reefs and is the first to be discovered in over 120 years.
The detached reef is being observed by a team of scientists and researchers from Schmidt Ocean Institute.
