Professor at the Australian National University Susan Scott is one of four honoured overnight by receiving Australia’s top science prize.
Professor Scott is one of four recipients to receive the Prime Ministers Prize for Science, and has been commended on her work as Australia’s leading general relativity theorist.
Professor Scott says she hopes her recognition serves as an inspiration to young women who are considering a career in physics, a field she describes as traditionally male dominated.
