South African President Cyril Ramaphosa is voluntarily self-quarantining after a guest at a dinner he attended was tested positive for coronavirus.

Reports indicate that President Ramaphosa is currently asymptomatic, but has chosen to isolate as a precaution.

South Africa has so far reported over 700 000 cases of COVID-19, of those 19,000 fatalities; the most on the continent.
