Queensland temperatures are set to swell to as much as eight per cent above average by the end of this week.
The Bureau of Meteorology’s James Thompson says locals should expect unseasonably hot conditions with hot, dusty winds to hit western Queensland and fire warnings in place across the state.
The increasing temperatures follow last weekend’s supercell storms that ravaged South-East Queensland, causing millions of dollars of damage.
