Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra is in an impeachment vote over corruption allegations which prompted protests across the Andean nation.
Mr Vizcarra accepted Peru’s Congress’s vote and said he would not take legal action to counter it.
Mr Vizcarra long-running stand-off with Congress over his anti-corruption agenda has since dissolved, the April 11 presidential election is to go as planned.
