US President Donald Trump has requested another recount of presidential ballots in the State of Georgia, after the certification of election results showed that Democratic leader Joe Biden won the state by a margin of less than 0.5%.
A hand recount of the ballots was initially conducted on Friday, which "upheld and reaffirmed the original outcome produced by the machine tally of votes cast."
This recount will be conducted by using a machine to rescan all paper ballots, with the anticipation that it will produce a near-identical outcome with Biden taking victory.
