Traditional Owners on North Stradbroke Island are continuing a protest against a development on sacred land.
In a media statement on Facebook, the Save Straddie Rally 2020 page writes that the Quandamooka Truth Embassy has been established at Point Lookout to tell the truths of what is occurring on their country.
The Embassy is protesting the development of the ‘Whale of the Hill’ project and say that their views have been ignored and disregarded by the State Government and Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation.
