The #End-SARS movement in Nigeria initiated because of the shooting of an unidentified young Nigerian by a police officer in the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit known as SARS.

Started from October, in the weeks and months since the protests have abated, demonstrators are still being abused meanwhile the government sidesteps accountability.

Nigerian protestors are trying to keep their momentum going, despite facing retaliations from institutional powers. Their bank accounts have been frozen by the local Central Bank and passports have been seized by immigration officers without reason.
