The Queensland government has confirmed that $3.6 billion will be spent to turn Brisbane city’s, Queens Wharf, into a luxury shopping precinct.
Deputy premier, Steven Miles, expects the construction will transform Brisbane’s CBD, boost tourism and create thousands more jobs when complete.
Private and public construction projects going ahead at the same time is putting Brisbane’s CBD under considerable congestion, making travel times longer for motorists.
