Researchers say the recent shutdown of Facebook on Thursday could be putting people in danger as important organisations have their posts hidden.
Professor Kelly, of the University of Queensland law and marketing raised concerns that Domestic Violence groups such as DVConnect, had their posts hidden.
Such organisations are concerned those with limited access to the internet are unable to seek information about domestic violence services outside Facebook.
