An increase in Bus Driver assault in Brisbane City has seen the labor council opposition, Jared Cassidy call for more safety measures for workers.
Cassidy has called for full driver barriers to protect drivers at work.
In twenty-twenty, twenty bus drivers were spat on and in thirteen instances drivers were struck or shoved by a member of the public, according to Cassidy.
