Italian ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo Luca Attanasio is one of 3 people who were killed in an ambush on a World Food Programme convoy in eastern DRC. The convoy was on its way to visit a school feeding project when gunmen attacked on a road frequently targeted by armed militia and bandits. Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs Luigi Di Maio says he will stop at nothing to uncover the circumstances of the attack and find those responsible.
