UK insurance company, Brit, has ruled out funding any projects associated with the Adani Carmichael coal project.
Brit, one of the largest British insurers is the sixth insurance company to stop underwriting Adani’s coal project.
Adani’s Carmichael mine will add an estimated 4.6 billion tonnes of carbon pollution to the atmosphere over its lifetime.
