The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has named Brisbane as the preferred candidate city to host the 2032 Summer Olympic Games.
Brisbane's bid is reportedly the stand-out due to the existing infrastructure and the established upgrade plans for South-East Queensland.
The IOC will now move discussions to a targeted dialogue followed by final negotiations.
