A team of QUT Creative practice delivered a short film using state-of-the-art technology to showcase cutting-edge medical science, by simulating environments like outback Queensland and operating room in the university campus.
QUT film lecturer and short film’s co-director, Joe Carter, said the team had gone beyond a short animated film to showcase what they are capable of.
The technology could enhance capabilities of rural centres integrating into Queensland’s health development. Potentially, the world-class trauma care of Queensland could benefit citizens despite their location.
