Tourists have been banned from entering Cape York’s most northern tip as Traditional Owners continue to report of defecating, littering and graffiti on sacred sites.

Michael Solomon, chairman of the Gudang/Yadhaykenu Aboriginal Corporation says it's insulting that locals and volunteers have to clean up the mess left by tourists visiting Country.

"We have been here for a long time but cannot go forward, people just don't recognise the traditional landowners,” Mr Solomon said.
