Rescue efforts are continuing in China’s Xinjiang region, after 29 people were trapped in a coal mine as a result of surprise flooding on Saturday.
Eight people have since been rescued and crews have located all the trapped miners, state broadcaster CCTV has reported.
The flooding is reportedly hampering the rescue efforts, as power cuts disrupt communication lines.
