Tropical cyclone Seroja has left a trail of destruction after making landfall in Western Australia as a category three storm last night
Thousands of residents south of Kalbarri were left without power and there have been reports of significant damage to properties and public infrastructure.
A red alert is still in place for south of Carnarvon to Lancelin, but the storm has now weakened to a tropical low as it moves further south-east.
