Antarctic supply ship MPV Everest has sailed into Fremantle port after a fire broke out in the ships engine room on Monday.
Some expeditioners had spent 18 months in Antarctica due to the pandemic disrupting travel schedules.
No crew members or expeditioners were injured in the fire, the Maritime Safety Authority will investigate the incident.
