Queensland opposition MP James Lister is backing Lawrence Springborg’s bid for the LNP Presidency after taking aim at the leadership of his own party calling them dumb and desperate.
Former LNP Councilor Lawrence Springbord who was removed from the party’s executive last year has confirmed his intent to run for the presidency as Mr Lister says electing Mr Springborg would be a giant step in the right direction.
Mr Lister says he urges members to elect Mr Springborg as he has campaigned continuously to get LNP President Cynthia Hardy to bring Mr Springborg back.
