A passenger who unwittingly entered the green zone in Brisbane International Airport has tested positive after arriving from Papua New Guinea on Friday.
The man was travelling with his partner and was allowed to shop and use amenities in the green zone before being retrieved.
Chief Health Officer Jeanette Young said the passenger posed a low risk to travellers because test results showed that he was at the end of his illness.
