Brisbane’s Alexandra Hospital COVID ward is shut while engineers investigate whether the building’s airflow was the cause of a COVID outbreak last month.
The ward will not reopen until an engineering report is finalized to determine how three health care workers were infected with COVID-19 whilst working in the ward.
The outbreak last month forced Brisbane into a three-day lockdown before Easter.
