The Queensland Community Alliance has announced the 2021 Budget Assembly will now be held on Monday 31st of May with Deputy Premier Steven Miles now addressing the assembly on Queensland Premiers behalf.

The Queensland civil society will assemble community leaders online and in person to gain commitment from Deputy Premier on the Alliance budget priorities which include delivering funding for workplace rights education for CALD communities, Emergency funding boost for community centres facing crisis due to COVID 19 and the end of job keeper,  and an increase in investment into a just transition of Queensland energy system including funding to progress renewable energy zones and renewable industry precincts to create good, secure and lasting jobs.
