The far north Queensland community of Doomadgee are continuing to wait on installation of much needed dialysis machines in the town.
The hospital has the machines but the town's water quality is deemed too poor to be used in the machines.
North West Hospital and Health Service's acting chief executive Karen Murphy said "The complexity is that the water quality going into these chairs has to be very specific.”
