The Gold Coast’s Pacific Fair is under fire from 50 Breastfeeding mothers who protested at the shopping centre last Friday.
They’re protesting the treatment of a woman who was asked to move on when breastfeeding on Friday.
Shannon Laverty says she was sitting near luxury stores when a woman from a nearby concierge desk suggested she use the parents room and asked to leave.
A Pacific Fair spokesperson says the interaction was a “misunderstanding” but the protesters believe it’s an example of normalised discrimination.
