Former Attorney-General Christian Porter has discontinued his defamation case against the ABC over a historical sexual assault claim
Mr Porter, the ABC and Four corners journalist Louise Milligan have reached an agreement where both sides agree to not pursue the matter further with no damages being paid.
Mr Porter is claiming the outcome as a win saying the report was sensationalist and wrong.
The ABC maintains the story was in the public interest and stood by Ms Milligan’s reporting.
