Israel’s opposition leader Yair Lapid is rallying against veteran prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Lapid has informed the country’s president Reuven Rivlin that he has successfully formed a new government.
Mr. Netanyahu is expected to try everything possible to abort the new government by turning politicians over to his side.
