Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate is calling for the resignation of Crime and Corruption Commission chairman Alan MacSporran.
The Parliamentary Crime and Corruption Commission is beginning investigations into the sacking of several councilors from Logan city council who are now believed to be wrongfully charged with fraud.
Councillor Tate says that this was no more than an act of “chest puffing” and has called Mr. MacSporran to step aside.
