Senior police officials are reviewing footage of an arrest of a protester yesterday during demonstrations at the Land Forces Expo.

It comes after protest groups and legal observers labelled Queensland Police’s use of force at the protest “excessive”.

Queensland Police told 4ZZZ  they are, quote, “committed to working with groups to plan and facilitate these activities”, but that they will “not tolerate unlawful behaviour which poses a risk to safety of individuals or impedes services provided by businesses and transport networks.”

8 Protestors were arrested at the land force expo yesterday, with protests of the arms industry showcase expected to continue into the week.
