Byron Bay residents set to star in a new Netflix series set around the luxury coastal town of Byron Bay have alleged they went into auditions under false pretenses of the show’s content by producers.
The reality TV show centering on the lives of Byron Bay influencers was deceptively pitched as a society and culture documentary to attract local community members but local resident, Sally Mustang, is alleging the series has turned out to be “superficial rubbish”.
Mustang says she is considering taking legal action if segments featuring her family go to air on Netflix.
