The New South Wales Council has come under fire as people who aren't classified as COVID vaccine priority groups have received the jab before people who are most at risk.
Librarians, lifeguards and other community workers have already received their jabs ahead of thousands of older Australians who are yet to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Peter Collignon, a professor of infectious diseases at the Australian National University, said there were still millions of people over 50 in the phases yet tp receive a vaccination and that it is still inappropriate that people in their 30s are ahead of them in the queue.
