Fortitude Valley’s QMusic has called upon the state government to invest money into Brisbane’s live music industry after Townsville’s state of origin match.
The closure of international borders until 2022 along with the flexible state borders, has seen the live music industry brought to its knees.
QMusic called on the Queensland government to offer a similar $24 million financial support package to the one the New South Wales government recently gave to live music venues.
