A woman has been airlifted to a Brisbane hospital after falling seventy meters down a cliff in a car accident north west of the Gold coast yesterday morning.

The woman reportedly sustained an arm injury, but miraculously appears to be in a stable condition.

The woman is understood to have been driving on Tamborine Oxen-ford road at 7:30am before the car rolled.

This is one of several accidents in the area yesterday morning when greater Brisbane was blanketed in fog.
