Chinese swimmer Sun Yang will not be eligible to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games being held later this year.
Having been suspended previously for doping in 2014, Sun refused to cooperate with sample collectors in September 2018 and was banned from competing for another eight years.
Despite the swimmer's doping suspension having been reduced by almost half in the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the suspension will only allow him to participate at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
