The Sunshine Coast Council handed down its 2021/2022 budget on Thursday.
A quick snapshot of the budget includes:
A budget which includes a positive operating result of four point three million, a seven hundred and eighty two million dollar budget that will support community and local businesses, A two hundred and forty three million dollar Capital Works Program, two percent minimum general rate increase and a three point five percent increase to waste management charges for a 240L wheelie bin, thanks to a one-off $35 COVID rebate to properties with a general rate.
