Prime Minister Scott Morrison has called on state and territory leaders to consider border closure exemptions for people who have been fully vaccinated.

Mr Morrison says this reward would encourage more people to get the vaccine.

However, state governments might not be on board.

Queensland’s Premier Anastacia Palaszczuck has previously described the exemptions as a vaccine passport, and New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejkilian says citizens should be free to move around the country regardless of vaccination status.
