A content warning for the next story which talks about death and abuse of Indigenous peoples. 

 

A second site of seven hundred and fifty unmarked graves has been discovered in Canada at a Catholic School for Indigenous children.

 

This comes after the first site which was discovered less than a month ago raised questions about the systemic abuse faced by Indigenous people in Canada.

 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau calls the discoveries, quote, “a shameful reminder of the injustices Indigenous people faced and continue to face.”

 

A former student from one of the schools, Barry Kennedy, says he wasn’t surprised by the revelations and reveals he was introduced to rape and violent beatings during his time there.
