Tom Robinson is set to become the world’s youngest person to row across the pacific ocean.
Robinson will start his solo journey in Chile and finish in Brisbane.
He will be travelling in a boat he built himself thanks to his apprenticeship in marine craft construction.
The boat, which will be equipped with a GPS and paper charts, draws inspiration from 19th and 20th century whaling ships with the exception of a few modern upgrades.
